Fortnite: Season 5 most dangerous spawn points

Dataminer Lucas7Yoshi has recently developed a new "thermal" map, which may help you to choose the best spawn points according to your needs.

This map gives a precise overview of where players die most in normal games. Hot spots that turn orange and even red are graveyards, while blue spots are much quieter.

The map was drawn up on a sample of 50,000 dead, and on a 'thermal' model. - Fortnite

What are the spawn points with the most action?

Not surprisingly, it's the new town of Salty Towers that claims the title of "Most Dangerous Spawn" in season 5. Even though the city is not particularly well stocked in loot, it benefits from the great popularity of its distant cousin: Tilted Towers.

Since the beginning of the current season, players have been nostalgically returning to these places as soon as they land.

Lazy Lake also remains a very busy town.

What are the safest spawn points?

On the other hand, if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet to build up your stuff, the safest cities are Coral Castle, Craggy Cliffs or Steamy Stacks. These places are on the edges of the map, where the most aggressive players rarely go.

The "AFK Ring"

In normal games there are always a few players among the 100 participants who forget to come back into the game after having registered in the lobby. They then automatically get out of the bus when it finishes its journey, and die in the water.

The statistics of the map have integrated these "AFK deaths", and shows a regular circle of deaths around the perimeter of the Battle Royale island!
