Players will be able to sell loot to Fortnite NPCs

If you ever happen to fill up your Fortnite inventory with items that are of little use to you during your games, this new feature might appeal to you.

Already present in some games, including Minecraft, it would allow players to sell their surplus loot to NPCs scattered all over the island.

The information was leaked back in December, and notable data  miner Hypex revealed that NPCs willing to buy items from you will be marked with a special icon: a money bag marked with a dollar sign.

This would give new meaning to these characters introduced with Season 5. For the moment, they are mostly tied to a quest system that earns players gold bars, but they can also be recruited as allies to finish more. easily a match.

In addition, these NPCs would also have the ability to bring in supply crates for 600 ingots - which is not cheap, but with the possibility of selling legendary weapons, it's a safe bet that your wallet will fill up quickly.

As for when it will be available in-game, it's hard to say. The first leaks suggested a rollout in Season 5, but with the latter ending by the end of the month, it's far more likely that this won't happen until the start of Season 6.
