Originally due to open ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games, the Super Nintendo Park in Osaka, Japan will be open to the general public on March 18.
There will be a cap on the number of visitors, following strict health and safety guidelines. Tickets will be numbered and allocated specific entry times.
Vistors to the Osaka Park will use a wearable wristband alongside a mobile app for a truly immersive interactive experience. The main attractions are rides based on Yoshi and Super Mario Kart—as well as various keys hidden around the park which can be obtained by solving puzzles.
The park is scheduled to come to Singapore, Universal Orlando and Hollywood.
Construction has already resumed on the Hollywood Park, smaller in scale and slated to open sooner. Florida's version has reportedly been delayed until 2025.
