Civilisation VI's New Frontier Pass so far has had five out of the six Packs released, the final one scheduled for release in March 2021. So far, every Pack has added new modes, Leaders, and Civilisations to play as, as well as buildings and new Wonders. The last one might be a little more spicy, however.
Going into the game's changelist shows us some hidden Achievements, bringing us clues on what to expect in this final Pack.
To start with are the Portugal references: "The Spice Must Flow - Win a regular game as João III" and "Ultramar Português - As Portugal, have a Trading Post in cities belonging to Brazil, India, and Japan".
João III was King of Portugal during the 16th Century, and it was during his rule that Portugal colonised what would later become Brazil, monopolising the spice trade when it came to clove and nutmeg. So it is fitting that this is represented in one of the achievements.
Portugal was also the first European country to make contact with China and Japan, also done under João III's rule; a story shown through another achievement.
The last additions are a little more strange.
"Re-Animator" is an achievement for having at least 20 Zombies under your control at the start of your turn, whilst "Well Hello Mr. Fancypants" is for destroying a Zombie with +50 or more Mutation Strength.
While we don't know what Mutation Strength is, or how you'll get Zombies, it is basically confirmed that the undead will rise in Civilisation VI's next Pack.
