Xbox might support VR in the future

IGN Italy has recently reported that an interesting message appeared when plugging a pre-release version of Xbox's new wireless headset. The notification (below) said the following: "The VR headset needs to be updated". Furthermore, the reporter pointed out that more messages were there to be found, stating that "an update for the VR headset is available" and a "update [the] VR headset" option was available.

Apparently, this was noticed only by the said reporter. The headset released today and there hasn't been any official comment from Microsoft or other users.

On the other hand, It's worth mentioning that Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, used to say that VR was never a priority for Xbox and that the company had no plans for it.
