UEFA Euro 2020 Cup event announced for Fortnite

To coincide with the UEFA Euro 2020, Fortnite will feature a weekend event to celebrate. Players will get a chance to earn in-game rewards as well as prize money.

UEFA has announced that Fortnite will be kicking off with the Fortnite UEFA Euro 2020 Cup on June 16 and 17.

Yes, I too was confused that the event has last year's year attached, but this is due to the 2020 Euro's being cancelled. The official logo and name have been carried over to this year instead.

Over the two days the event is live, players will be able to compete across two rounds to earn valuable points. The top performing players will be able to earn prize money, as well as in-game rewards. The graphic mentions the 'Kick It' and 'Winners Cup' in-game rewards, although nothing on the prize money or any additional prizes.
