Sony is celebrating Pride Month with a brief summary of their PlayStation games, some of which represent the values of the LGTBQ+ community.
Following an official statement from Tiffany Hester, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Sony Interactive Entertainment, she explained that they are not only proud with the content of their games, but also with their work environment.
The merits, messages and work from the company, including their defense of transgender people rights, has received recognition. Sony Interactive Entertainment was acknowledged for having the highest score at the human rights campaign, according to the Foundation's Equality Index.
Regarding PlayStation’s titles, more than 50 games have been labelled with a certain degree of LGBTQ+ values and visibility on them. The list includes The Last of Us Part 2, Night in the Woods, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Life is Strange, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Horizon Zero Dawn.
