The Fortnite map is always in flux, and according to well-known leaker HYPEX, some new changes will be dropping with the next update.
It seems that the aliens will be playing a big part in these changes — they’re already a huge part of the narrative, so it only makes sense.
We don’t know exactly when these changes will roll out, but it’s most likely to happen in the next week or so.
Map Changes
- The parasites will take control of the following zones: Afflicted Alameda, Sleeping Pools and Sacred Hedges.

Coral Castle will be hijacked by the mothership, and it will leave a crater where the OIs will have their camp and then Kymera will appear there with an exotic Explosive Pulse Rifle.
