The Fortnite Club skin for July has arrived with much more controversy than expected.
Not because it doesn't live up to expectations in terms of the quality of the character's representation, but rather quite the opposite. It seems that Epic Games have put the quality of the character representation ahead of the viability of it in-game, making it a skin to avoid, and essentially a 'pay to lose' option.
While many characters stand out for being slim, Loki's skin is the exact opposite. In this way, the cosmetic's gigantic horns become a problem for medium and long-range fire, since they are capable of obscuring the enemy, buildings and other elements of the map.
It is, however, an easily rectifiable error, making the horns become transparent when aiming. However, in the current state of the skin, it is highly recommended not to use it.
The skin also has another great downside, that the glider included with the skin releases a greenish flash when it unfolds... which makes you visible in the sky to enemies who have already landed.
It's a brief glow, but enough to highlight the player with the Loki skin in the skies. It may be a simple glitch, but the problem is there, and together with the helmet problem it makes this month's Fortnite Club skin one of the least recommended in Epic's game.
