Microsoft has revealed details of its Gamescom 2021 showcase, where it will likely show off a plethora of games coming to Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass.
The stream will take place on August 24 at 6pm BST (11am PT), directly before Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live broadcast.
Although Microsoft hasn't specified what we will see, in a blog post it indicates that it will offer "in-depth updates from some of our previously announced Xbox Game Studios titles alongside some of our third-party partners, including some of the incredible titles coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases to our monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, and much more."
In other words, this means games that have already been announced. This may include titles such asAvowed and Hellblade 2, which were both absent from E3. We may even get a release date for Halo Infinite.
On the other hand, it also means that -- except for last minute surprises -- there will be no new announcements.
In addition, Mircosoft announced a special Gamescom edition of the Xbox FanFest, and discounts of up to 75% during the Xbox Gamescom Sale.
Naturally, Microsoft are still offering new subscribers to Xbox Game Pass their first month for just £1/$1.
