Season 8 of Fortnite is just around the corner, and as always theories and rumors are beginning to emerge about the theme it could take.
Following a long absence, it appears the Cube is set to make return in Chapter 2, closing the thread from Chapter 1 and making it clear that darkness will be the main theme of the season.
This time, it's not a dataminer to 'blame' for this news -- instead coming from Epic Games Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard himself. Of course, nothing is confirmed just yet, although if one of the heads of Fortnite suggests it then it's a hint that has more legs than a typical rumour.
This is especially considering that the same Cube has been spotted on the map...
With things ramping up in Fortnite -- such as the Ariana Grande event -- we can't wait to see what's next, and how the Cube theme will evolve.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 should begin on September 13, barring any delays.
