The Galaxy Cup is back!
The first edition took place in Fortnite last year, and now Epic have decided to run a version 2.0.
Taking place on August 29 on Android devices, players could win a new outfit, back bling, and skin that will appear later in the in-game item store.
Galaxy Cup 2.0 Details
The Galaxy Cup 2.0 is a single player tournament, which uses the Arsenal temporary mode for the first time.
In this game mode, all players start with the same powerful weapon. Every time they take out a player, they receive a slightly less powerful weapon. The first to go through all the weapons, from best to worst, wins.
For Cup purposes, a Victory Royale earns you seven points and each elimination one point. You also receive a point for each game you play. Players can only participate in a maximum of 25 games to score points.
The top players in each region will win the Vortextual Wrap, the Galaxy Grappler Outfit, and the Hands of the Galaxy Back Bling.
Like last time, the Galaxy Cup 2.0 is open to all players using Fortnite-compatible Android devices. Before participating, make sure you have activated two-factor authentication on your Epic account, and that it is level 30 or higher.
