Pokémon Unite continues to add new content and balance changes via regular patches, with 1.1.1.8 going live this week.
This one focuses on bugfixes, but it also remedies some issues with Blissey -- and has left the Fairy Pokémon a lot more dangerous.
Here are the changes to Blissey:
- Increased Sp. Def
- Safeguard now removes all status conditions from the user and the designated ally Pokémon, and grants both Pokémon a shield. While these shields are active, the shielded Pokémon become immune to hindrances. Additionally, the cooldown has been reduced, and the area of effect increased.
- Safeguard+ now has increased damage mitigation.
While Blissey was powerful beforehand, now it will be even stronger. As one of the few effective supports, she'll be in prime position to be picked up on teams with proper comps, and is likely to see increased playtime.
Only time will tell whether it'll need a nerf down the line, should winrates peak too much.
