We finally have news from Palworld with a new trailer showing us gameplay snippets. The independent game from Pocketpair caused a stir last January thanks to a first trailer showing a more than new concept: capturing creatures (Pals), like Pokémon, but with guns! However Palworld is much more than that, it is also farm management, open world exploration, and even crafting. A whole new world of possibilities shown in the game's latest trailer!
Guns and buildings
Like the first trailer of the game, the latest reveals a universe very similar to the one we know thanks to the Pokémon games. There is therefore a system for capturing Pals (pocket monsters), some of the latter having an appearance rather similar to certain small characters from the Nintendo license.
However, the differences with Pokémon are many and these unique features are presented:
- Setting up enclosures for captured Pals.
- The Hunt , which your character can perform without the aid of a Pals.
- The craft , we see in the trailer small "sheep" building a wooden workbench. The constructions range from a simple wooden piece of furniture to... a rocket!
- Epic fights , with or without the help of Pals, with shotguns, machine guns, or many other weapons of all kinds.
One thing is certain, there will be no dull moment in the open world of Palworld!
Will the players be there?
The game, which is scheduled for release this year, is highly anticipated and the community is letting the Pocketpair teams know. Below the video, many fans of the concept are eagerly awaiting the production .
"Please don't give up on this project; you have the potential to make some really cool games, but you also have to finish them. I can't wait to see how the game turns out, it looks to be a lot of fun" .
"I've been saving money for this game since February, I'm ready, and honestly, I think about it several times a week. It looks great, and I hope it's as deep than it appears to be from the 3 trailers I've seen" .
"So we play an Aloy-like character, catch Pokemon, build and use guns! This game has it all, it's been a long time since I've waited for a game this much" .
We are also very much looking forward to discovering this unusual gameplay, halfway between GTA V and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Never seen !
