Now confirmed for good, the collaboration between Dragon Ball and Fortnite will make noise. The most reputable dataminers on the planet are busy finding the latest information about the crossover, which is already shaping up to be one of the juiciest of the year for the Battle Royale.
Very recently, Shiina and Hypex relayed a reliable source, which claims that the crossover will present exactly four skins stamped Dragon Ball. This suggests that the crossover will be roughly the same size as each of the partnerships with the Naruto franchise.
Which DBZ characters in the spotlight?
Dragon Ball is a cult anime, and which has the particularity of sheltering a cohort of heroes and cyborgs, each more charismatic than the other. Suffice to say that with only four skins at the end of the tunnel, it's jostling at the gates... The contenders for the outfit in the Battle Royale are legion, and the fans are already spreading their predictions about the lucky ones.
Son Goku, Trunks, Vegeta and Piccolo are the most obvious contenders at first glance, but Epic Games could surprise them. Cell, Frieza or even Broly could very well appear! We will probably have to wait a few more weeks to know the official line up of the crossover skins.
Kick off in August?
For Shiina, it is possible that the Fortnite x DBZ collab will occur in mid-August. Indeed, the new Dragon Ball movie will be released on August 19 in the United States, and barely three days earlier, the look of Fortnite's Battle Bus will be given a facelift. A makeover of the battle bus had also occurred a few days before the start of the collaboration with Naruto, and we can therefore imagine that the publisher chooses to do an identical maneuver with DBZ.
