Fortnite's Vibin' season is coming to an end! Which means that we will soon be gearing up for a brand new season! In-game, on the Battle Pass menu, it says that the current Chapter 3 Season 3 will end this Saturday, September 17.
De facto, season 4 should start the next day, that is to say , Sunday, September 18 . Since the beginning of Chapter 3, Epic Games has indeed liked to inaugurate its seasons on Sundays. And it's not to displease us, because if we put aside the traditional concerns of servers, it's the best day of the week to embark on a new opus of Battle Royale in peace.
What time is chapter 3 season 4 coming out?
At the time of this writing, Epic Games has not disclosed the exact time of the start of maintenance or the deployment of the next Season 4 patch. However, the publisher has a habit of starting its big maintenances in the morning, to make the game available around noon.
We can therefore expect to be able to launch the first parts of season 4 on Sunday, September 18 around noon . All this should be taken with a grain of salt of course, especially since Epic Games likes to surprise us, with live events, temporary disappearances from the game, etc... So let's stay tuned while waiting for official information!
A lore that is starting to take shape
Epic has yet to begin its official teaser of the upcoming season, but several reliable leaks have already appeared. One image in particular made headlines on Reddit, where you can see Paradigm's hand being engulfed in a dark liquid (possibly oil?)
Fine analysts of the game have made the connection between this drowning hand and the shield of Malik, one of the charismatic characters of the current season's battle pass .
It is therefore during season 4 that we will, apparently, get to know this big bad guy who manipulates this black liquid as he pleases.
