Amouranth victim of a hack
After announcing her retirement from Onlyfans earlier this year, Amouranth finally changed her mind. Whether it's because of a change in her plans or the $33 million she's raised since joining the platform, the influencer has made Onlyfans one of her main sources of income.
The streamer announced the bad news yesterday: her Onlyfans account was hacked. It is thanks to a notification as soon as she wakes up that the content creator was able to react quickly. Immediately, Amouranth panicked because she hadn't had time to transfer her last cash receipts to her personal bank account. On his Onlyfans, there remained more than 900,000 dollars that the malicious hacker tried to steal.
More fear than harm
Luckily for the streamer, the hacker failed to verify her bank details and was therefore unable to transfer Amouranth's money to another account. It is precisely because of the information verification error message that the influencer realized the deception.
However, Amouranth explains that she had activated two-factor authentication (verification by phone or email) on her account. The hacker therefore had to have some hacking skills in order to infiltrate the streamer's account despite these barriers.
In the future, the influencer plans to greatly strengthen the security of her Onlyfans account , as well as all the others. Already somewhat traumatized by the stalkers she suffered at TwitchCon, a little rest is in order for Amouranth!
