It's no longer a secret: Mr Beast will make his way to the Fortnite store. The YouTube superstar will be entitled to a skin bearing his image during the month of December 2022. And even if at the time of writing these lines we still do not know the exact date on which the collab will be released, we can already to wonder if this partnership will not go far beyond the Fortnite cosmetic shop.
Indeed, it has been several weeks since dataminers highlighted an IRL partnership between the Mr Beast burger chain and the Battle Royale.
A collab prior to this season?
In the United States, Mr Beast is much more than a YouTube star. The influencer is an Empire in itself, which no longer hesitates to diversify its activities. Mr Beast, for example, is the head of a fast food chain, and it was through him that his collaboration with Fortnite was first teased. During the FNCS Invitational 2022, a model of the Durr Burger was indeed branded with Mr Beast.
It was in a way the very first teaser of the collaboration that will take place this season between the influencer and the BR.
A Durr Burger under the Mr Beast flag?
Visible in the cinematic of the season launch, the famous Durr Burger mascot could well be the heart of the next crossover. Who knows: maybe Mr Beast's restaurant chain will come to life directly in Fortnite?
The hot zone system used by Electronic Arts on Apex Legends seems to have once again inspired Epic Games which has just released its own version of hot spots on Fortnite's Battle Royale mode.
