B.R.U.T.E.S to be nerfed in Fortnite patch v10.10

Many people have complained about the mechs and their strength, especially in competitive modes. As a result, Epic Games has unveiled changes that will appear with the v10.10 patch.

B.R.U.T.E.S to be nerfed in Fortnite patch v10.10

B.R.U.T.E.S have had a huge impact ever since arriving in Season 10 of Fortnite — and players haven't necessarily warmed to them. In response, Epic Games have announced that they will make various modifications to ensure a better experience for players in Patch v10.10. However, one thing is certain: the giant robots are not about to be vaulted.

Here are the most notable changes the mechs will undergo:

  • A laser targeting system allows you to see when you are in the line of fire
  • A sound effect lets you know when you are targeted
  • Mobility bugs fixed

B.R.U.T.E.S remain available in the main game modes, such as Solo, Duos, Squads, Events, Arena, and Tournaments.

In addition, between August 1-5 players noticed various problems in the Arena mode. One brought groups into Season 9 matchmaking, which caused level differences and matches that were not balanced. The problem has been fixed, but some players may have their waiting times extended as a result of this change.
