Fortnite's building system has just been modified. It is now much slower to build a series of constructions thanks to the turbo build.

Do you master 90's in Fortnite? It is over, or at least it is over until you get used to the new building system that was just introduced this morning with v10.20 patch.

Indeed, "turbo building" — a system allowing you to continuous construct while keeping the construction key pressed — has just been heavily nerfed. Until then, turbo building showed a construction every 0.05 seconds. This time that has just been increased to 0.15 seconds. Building is now 3 times slower, a significant change that has disturbed players all over the world since the introduction of the update.

With a slower rate of build-up of structures, it is not only harder to chain the 90's, but it is also very difficult to resist ennemies' shots. The building system is clearly no longer the almost perfect defense it has been so far.

The decision is already unpopular within the community and it is difficult to say if this change is made to last or if Epic will be satisfied with a short test phase.
