While Capcom recently revealed a trailer (which had leaked) about their new game, Resident Evil: Resistance (or Project Resistance for now) shows itself a little more through an official website. The latter confirms that the title will be an asymmetrical online survival, i.e. four players will play as survivors who will have to flee the scene while a fifth player, the Mastermind, tries to stop them. Survivors will simply have to run away. The gameplay should be quite close to what the Resident Evil series recently offers, except that each of the characters will have different abilities. It is however much more interesting to look at the Mastermind, which will be behind different cameras and monitors in order to set traps (represented as maps) and block the players' path. He will also be able to directly embody a creature to do the dirty work.
Resident Evil: Resistance still doesn't have a release date, we only know that the game will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and that a closed Beta will soon be available on console.
