A psychological adventure tinged with the paranormal, Song of Horror is a title that will seek to terrify us through manifestations of the Presence. It's a title that we will be able to experience through the points of view of 13 different characters. The particularity of this game, developed by Protocol Games and published by Raiser Games, is that the AI of the Presence — which took five years to develop — adapts to our decisions and is unpredictable. Each of the adventures we will live, where the deaths of each character is permanent, should be different.
The disappearance of the famous writer Sebastian P. Husher and his family, as well as the assistant sent by his publisher to see what was going on, will quickly turn out to be linked to the Presence. It's an evil entity that continues to prowl around, waiting for your arrival in order to kill you. Even if you die, other investigators will continue your work, until the source of the Presence is discovered and stopped.
You can play alternately different characters, and will be able to visualize the situation from different angles, but anyyone can die at any moment if the hunt for the Presence proves successful. You'll need to be wary of the slightest shadow, of what is hidden behind each door, or of the mirrors that whisper. Song of Horror will be released in five episodes between October 2019 to March 2020. The first episode (The Husher Mansion), and the second episode (Eerily Quiet) will be released on Steam on a special date — Hallowe'en, October 31, 2019. The following episodes (A Twisted Trail, The Last Concert, and The Horror and The Song) are scheduled for December 2019, and January and March 2020.
While the first episode takes place in the frightening Husher Mansion, the following epsiodes will take us to an antique store in a haunted building, a cursed school, an abandoned abbey surrounded by a deadly halo after a grim concert, and a psychiatric establishment.
