The Season 9 of League of Legends is getting close from the end, and Riot Games just announced their planning for the following season. In the last "Quick Gameplay Through" Riot Meddler presented the next changes underwent by the Rift, as well as the future balance changes and new contents that are going to be shipped to Teamfight Tactics with patch 9.19.
LoL Pre-Season Planning
As usual, the following dates are subject to changes:
- October 10 (roughly): Riot will start presenting their objectives for the pre-season.
- October 15: Major changes will be unveiled during the ten-years anniversary show of League of Legends, then summarized into an article on the Nexus website.
- October 22: Pre-Season changes will be shipped to the PBE for a four-weeks long test.
- November 19: Start of the Pre-Season following patch 9.23.
Teamfight Tactics Changes
- You won't be able to get 4-cost champions from loot boxes before Krugs.
- The gold drop will be reduced.
- Neeko's Help should be less common without becoming an ultra-rare item
- Spatulas should appear less frequently.
