HTC's next headset will have nothing to envy the Oculus Quest.

HTC introduces hand-tracking technology for its Vive Cosmos

If Facebook's announcement about the Oculus Quest has enough to revive the hype on the autonomous Oculus headset, we must not forget that on October 3, 2019 another VR headset will arrive on our shelves: the HTC Vive Cosmos. It's an autonomous headset as well and it will also offer optical finger tracking, like the Vive and Vive Pro helmets.

HTC had announced its free-of-charge tracking SDK running under Unity and Unreal Engine in March, and as a reminder, it will work on all HTC headsets, which includes the Vive Cosmos, whether on Viveport or Steam.
