With the release of Blackwing Lair in World of Warcraft Classic rapidly approaching, Blizzard has made it possible for players to start making preparations for this new raid.
Although it will not be possible to take on Nefarian until February 12, now is a great time to become attuned, as Blizzard has made the quest Blackhand's Command available on all realms!
How to Become Attuned With Blackwing Lair
Compared to Attunement to the Core, becoming Attuned with Blackwing Lair is a much simpler process. As of January 10, players can start the Blackhand's Command quest by looting Blackhand's Command from Scarshield Quartermaster.
Scarshield Quartermaster can be found just before you enter Blackrock Spire. If you turn into the first hallway on your left, you'll see this Rare Elite patrolling the area, surrounded by several other Scarshield Orcs. Once you kill him, he will drop Blackhand's Command, which will begin the quest Blackhand's Command when you interact with it in your bag.
Scarshield Quartermaster
Scarshield Quartermaster can be found just before you enter Blackrock Spire. If you turn to your right, you'll see this Rare Elite patrolling the area, surrounded by several other Scarshield Orcs. Once you kill him, he will drop Blackhand's Command, which will begin the quest Blackhand's Command when you interact with it in your bag.
Blackhand's Command
This quest is very simple, as all you have to do is touch the Orb of Ascension, which can be found behind the final boss of Upper Blackrock Spire, General Drakkisath
Simply clear URBS like normal, then once you've killed Drakkisath, click on the orb behind him to complete the quest. This will provide you with attunement to Blackwing Lair!
The Benefits of Attunement
Once you're attuned, you'll be able to quickly enter Blackwing Lair without any hassle at all! You'll find an Orb of Command at the end of the hallway in which you killed Scarshield Quartermaster, and being attuned with Blackwing Lair will let the orb teleport you right into the start of the raid!
This will make raiding so much easier, and makes things a lot less complex when trying to co-ordinate 40 players. All raiding leaders will require this, so now is the perfect time to get it done!
