Also nicknamed Corpo-rats, they are managers, employees and agents located at different levels of mega-corporations who rule the world.
While their life is comparatively more luxurious than that of the average person, it is no less brutal and dangerous. Intrigues, power struggles, dirty tricks and deadly betrayals are the norm. In order to climb the ranks in the corporation, Corpos won't hesitate to violate rules, exploit secrets and make good use of the slightest information to eliminate their rivals, whether they are part of the same or another corporation.
Corpos are generally cold, calculating and relentless.
By choosing this Lifepath, V will know the inner workings of corporations, the mentality of their agents and their way of proceeding. This'll help him discern their intentions and the pitfalls in the contracts, as well as seize opportunities and negotiate in his favor.
It might also open doors in high places in order to obtain contracts or otherwise inaccessible material.
Prologue
V begins as an employee of the counterintelligence division of Arasaka corporation. He works for Arthur Jenkins, who wants the promotion obtained by his rival, Susan Abernathy. He charges V to find her weaknesses in order to bring her down.
However, our protagonist is obviously going to be fooled, and as a result, will loose his cyberwares and corporate privileges before being kicked out of the company.
