Blightcrag is a node that is farmed using the Mining skill in New World, and gives off Death Motes and Putrid Lodestones.

What do you need Blightcrag for in New World?
A special type of rock formation that gives off Death Reagents, the two primary drops will be Death Motes and Putrid Lodestones. Both are key Arcana ingredients.
Death Motes are used in a whole load of concoctions, including coatings, potions, tinctures, and the cutting of Sapphire and Moonstone gemstones. It is also a key resource in crafting the Eternal Heart, a mid-level reagent in ultimately creating Amrine Tuning Orbs, Genesis Cores, and Energy Cores.
Putrid Lodestones, meanwhile, are also used in several potions and coatings, as well as Runestones -- a key component in max-level Tuning Orbs and Legendary weapons.
In order to mine Blightcrag, you'll need a Mining Pickaxe. There's a level requirement of 50 to mine them, and you'll be able to track Blightcrag nodes from Mining Skill Lv. 75.
The best locations to farm Blightcrag in New World
These are the clusters we think are best for power-farming Blightcrag.
Cutlass Keys
Fast travel into the Skullworm Shrine, then head north. You'll find nodes in the ridges either side of the path, at Stone Skull Fort annd Pullpatch Cover.
Great Cleave
The best location for power-farming Blightcrag is around the Eeriedune Graveyard and to the south, at Misty Borough.
While Fort Alazar Shrine is just over the mountain in Brightwood, you may not find a spot where you can climb up and over. That means you'll have to run soith from Cleave's Point Outpost or the Tempest Valley Shrine.
Monarch's Bluffs
There's a nice cluster of six nodes around Farside Township, south of the Achernar Gate shrine.
Restless Shore
Possibly the easiest place to farm, there's a ton of nodes at Arclight Cavern, and a few more across the water on Rabbit Island.
The easiest thing to do is head northeast from the Settlement.
Weaver's Fen
Another significant cluster lies in Weaver's Fen, in an area between Taryville and Hazel's Cave.
Head directly south from the Settlement, following the path, and you'll easily spot the plentiful nodes on your radar.
