Welcome to our step-by-step walkthrough of your Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl adventure!

There have been several changes made since the original titles released in 2006, so this new walkthrough aims to guide you through Sinnoh without missing a single thing.

Where to find the Fuego Ironworks

When passing through Floaroma Town, you may have missed the Fuego Ironworks. This is completely normal, as you can't access the Ironworks right away.

To get there, you'll need the Surf TM, given to you by Cynthia's Grandmother in Celestic Town. You'll then need to beat Fantina in the Hearthome City Gym to be able to use it.

Head to Floaroma Town and exit east onto Route 205. Make your way to the wooden bridge at the crossroads, where the Valley Windworks is to the east and the Route continues north.

Use Surf to get onto the water, then follow the river west and north to arrive at the Fuego Ironworks.

How to navigate the Fuego Ironworks labyrinth

Inside the Ironworks, things aren't as straightforward as you may like. The ground is littered with panels that force you to travel in a certain direction, like a conveyor belt.

The video below guides you through the Ironworks, in which there are several Trainers to battle.

There are several items you can pick up as you make your way to the centre of the maze.

  • Fire Stone
  • Rock Incense
  • TM35 Flamethrower

When you reach the centre, Mr. Fuego will explain his failed logic for installing the conveyor panels, and give you a second Fire Stone.

These evolution stones are important in evolving Fire-type Pokémon -- especially if you want to evolve Eevee into Flareon.
