The Fortnite transfer window never stops. We've a proof of that with yesterday's announcement of Mitr0's signature with Team Liquid. The North American organization adds an excellent player to its already substantial roster of Epic Games' royal battle. Since his tumultuous departure from Team Atlantis last September, Mitr0 has been playing as a free agent.
During the Fortnite Champion Series Season 10, the Dutch player — accompanied by Mongraal and Benjyfishy — had completely dominated the scene.
Mitr0 joins Cented, Riversan, Vivid, Strafesh0t, Poach, and Chap for the next season — which should be played in Duo. Late last year, Mitr0 had made headlines by wanting to part ways with his current team, Team Atlantis. He decided to terminate a contract that no longer suited his elite player status. The community had reacted on social networks with #freemitr0, and the two parties finally agreed on an "amicable" separation.
It remains to be seen with whom Mitr0 will form a team for Chapter 2 Season 2. One thing's for sure: with a 6th place at the 2019 Fortnite World Cup Duos, the Dutchman has (very) good basis to make the Liquids proud.
