The X Series will also be accompanied by a brand new proprietary architecture called Xbox Velocity Architecture, which should help developers design worlds that are even larger and more generous in content and interaction.
According to the article, the biggest audience for this technology will be gigantic open worlds (Final Fantasy XV and Red Dead Redemption II are examples).
Finally, Microsoft doesn't forget to mention compatibility as a third pillar for its machine. The X Series should be more flexible with cross-generation gaming and smart delivery, the feature that allows you to buy a game on one medium and then enjoy it on another (Cyberpunk 2077, for example, will use this feature).
