For festive moments and special occasions, Epic Games usually freely gives some cosmetics in Fortnite. This was the case most recently with the Travis Scott concert, where players were able to get a glider and two emotes without paying a penny — but just by completing some challenges related to the show.
Dataminers discovered that another item was going to be given to the players for free: Neon Wings.
It's now official: the Neon Wings will have to be collected between Saturday 9 and Monday 11 May. All you have to do is log in to the game during this period to receive the backbling. We've also learned that the wings will be responsive to music. In other words, they will change color according to the sounds, volume and rhythm!
This free backbling is celebrating the concert of Deadmau5, Dillon Francis and Steve Aoki this weekend. Similar shows are expected to multiply in the coming months, via Party Royale LTM.
