Valorant will come out of its beta phase in a few days. After a four-day shutdown, Riot Games' FPS will finally be available for free to most players around the world on June 2. Many organizations have already announced their roster in order to enter the competitive scene of the game.
Recently Fortnite's professional player, Zander "thwifo" Kim, made an announcement about his future in the world of esport: "Valorant just flows more naturally to me and I enjoy it a lot more, I love this game with a burning passion right now. Fortnite just hasn’t been the same."
It's a heavy blow for Epic Games royal battle that loses a famous player. Since then, he has participated in several Valorant tournaments and has proved that he was good at the game and that this decision was perhaps the right one.
At least that's what another Fortnite player who is very popular in the community thinks, since he's the reigning world champion Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf. In thwifo's tweet, the 17-year-old replied "you made the right decision."
This response suggests that he himself is fed up with Fortnite's current state and that he would not mind following the same path. Let's recall that Bugha is part of the Sentinels that recently recruited Sinatraa from the pro Overwatch scene to create their own Valorant team. It's currently composed of only four players.
The young prodigy could very well join them and be their fifth and final player. Recently, he has been giving his opinion on the Epic Games' battle royale and he has recently given a criticism of the aim assist.
Have these problems finally got the better of Bugha's passion? Nothing is less certain. By winning the Fortnite World Cup Solo last year, he established himself as one of the most competent and reputable players. He still has a bright future in the game and hopes that the publisher will be able to listen to his community and professional players in order to constantly improve.
