As the flood theme is confirmed day after day for Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 3, coming on June 11, multiple theories are starting to emerge on related content. The one we're going to talk about here comes from a certain Tabor Hill, a source close to Epic Games developpers and considered very reliable by the world's leading leakers.
According to Tabor Hill the Flare Gun, that was discovered about a year ago via a short cinematic, will arrive in our arsenal in Season 3.
This clip had been shown to the players before the Pro-Am 2019. The community immediately imagined that the Flare Gun would become a new weapon that could be used in-game. Epic Games has left this weapon in the closet until today.
How does this video link the Flare Gun to Season 3? To find out, you have to look at the game icon mistakenly published by PlayStation Store yesterday. Dataminers noticed the small island crowned by three palm trees, which looks just like the one Jonesy ran aground on in the clip above.
All of this is still rumors, but the fact that the information comes from Tabor Hill gives it some credence. He gave the first leaks on sharks or on Party Royale.
If it proves to be effective we hope that this addition to the arsenal won't be the only one at the beginning of Season 3. It's been weeks since the pool of playable weapons in the battle royale has changed.
