Following the announcement of a new State of Play, Sony wanted to clarify the compatibility of devices on the PS5 via the PlayStation Blog. The DualShock 4, won't be compatible with PS5 games, but will be on current-gen games available on PS5. Regarding sim-racing enthusiasts, no need to invest in new equipment, because the steering wheels or arcade sticks will work on the new generation of Sony, same as audio devices connected by USB or not.
The PlayStation VR, like the PS Move will be available on PS5, but note that the PlayStation camera will require an adapter that Sony will provide at no additional cost for PSVR users.
