Price and the release date of the PS5? Check.
Games at launch that are amazing? Check.
A price of $79.99 for the aforementioned exclusives? Uh... Check? It was the bad surprise of the evening: while the Japanese manufacturer offered us a PS5 conference filled with big games and surprises, the small lines of the contract, balanced after the event, arn't necessarily to everyone's taste.
Indeed, on its 1st party titles (either produced by studios belonging to them), Sony applies a significant price increase to the price to which we have been accustomed for years now: 10 dollars more.
It's however a reality, and many are still likely to fall, either for the Spiderman Miles Morales, or for the Demon's Souls and its luxury remake directed by Bluepoint. Either way, many of you already seem to have opted for a pre-order of the machine, given the speed at which the stocks of the various retailers are dropping like flies.
Note that only the manufacturer's exclusive games are offered at this price, those of the publishers are displayed at the usual "old generation" price. By surpassing this famous barrier of $70 and getting wickedly close to $100 for the basic edition of a game, Sony Playstation may have gone a little too far.
It remains to be seen how much these games will actually be offered in mass distribution, but we are directly thinking of players who will opt for a digital edition: without a second-hand market or promotional offers outside the Playstation eco-system, these players will then be condemned to pay the rates advised by Sony.
