Over the last week, gamers have reportedly received postcards, posters, and DVDs, all of which seem to be tied to Fortnite.
A lot of the imagery seem to be of an alien or space theme, with videos showing crop circles of various shapes as the postcards have glowing green imagery of stars and space.
Calling the number on the back of the cards just gives backwards messages and static. Very cryptic.
People have been playing with the numbers and symbols trying to decipher any codes and learn the secrets.
Most interestingly, the coordinates given line up with the Cube on Fortnite's map. Remember when dataminers found evidence of a Cube-themed skin, which was updated last month?
This all comes in tandem with the recent 'Foreshadowing' quests, where players interact with the downed helicopter and fix broken telescopes to look up to the stars; as well as placing warning signs around crop circles.
While it is strange that postcards are going to people who play the game, Fortnite content creators are receiving DVDs which makes it seem like a marketing stunt for the Battle Royale's new season; which starts June 7.
A space theme would make sense for Fortnite, as we've had teasers of the likes of Samus and Loki in the Zero Point comic.
