As Grounded is approaching one year since its release into the early access world, the developer has announced changes to how they'll be updating the game.
From now on, the plan is to have less frequent updates but these will be more meaningful, with larger and better content. The goal is to find a balance between keeping the game fresh with new additions, while also giving the development team time to create new quality features.
This change will mean the next update will come at the end of June, rather than May as had been expected. This will be one of the largest updates to Grounded yet, with new and improved building options, food changes, and improvements to photo mode.
This is only the tip of the iceberg though, as Obsidian describe this as "a small preview of what's coming in June" although they don't want to "spoil the big stuff".
Grounded is available through Xbox Game Pass if you want to give it a try, otherwise available on Steam and the Windows Store. The game puts a twist on the classic survival game, in which players have been shrunk to the size of an ant and have to survive in their own backyard.
