As Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 fast approaches, Epic Games is kicking off their teaser campaign.
Over the past few days, several tracks have been unearthed 'in real life': posters pasted in various capitals around the world, audio and video recordings sent to YouTubers, advertisements placed, and more.
This time, Epic have released a relatively explicit teaser, on all official social networks.
In this ten-second clip, we can see a charm with the effigy of Fishstick, a carton of milk and what looks like an alien weapon. In the background, we can see strange purple runes and a ray of blue light -- the same that aliens have used for a few days to randomly eliminate players in the Battle Royale!
The new alien theme to Fortnite has reached a new milestone, as they become a threat. Players are reportedly being abducted by UFOs in-game.
By combining all three comments, we get our fair share of clues about the upcoming Season 7.
At first glance, we can assume that alien technologies (weapons, tools, etc.) run the risk of making an entry in the Season 7 arsenal, and that would alter the meta yet again. This teaser seems to confirm it.
However, we are also struck by another passage: that of "standard laws of gravitational force".
If it was the aliens who communicated these messages, they apparently seek to disobey these laws. Therefore, we could see the effects of weightlessness added to the chaos of our battle royale matches. Stay tuned.
