After eight long years of absence, the famous and formidable Bayonetta will finally sign its big comeback in a third opus soberly titled Bayonetta 3. Scheduled for the end of 2022, this new title is already eagerly awaited by fans of the license and looks very promising. And that's an understatement, since the recent data about him indicate that he could be very ambitious... As ambitious even as a certain Breath of the Wild!

A title with colossal ambitions?
The first two titles of the Bayonnetta saga were dazzling successes, it's no secret for many people, so it's quite logical that their direct sequel is highly anticipated. What if we told you that the title could be more ambitious than ever? Finally... For a Nintendo Switch game, let's get this straight.
Some data has indeed leaked on the Nintendo eShop about the size of the title signed Platinum and seems to indicate that Bayonetta 3 could be the most demanding game in the saga. Moreover, with its 15 GB it would even be "bigger" than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild itself, which barely exceeds the 13.4 GB bar.
If it is difficult to imagine a Bayonetta surpassing Breath of the Wild in terms of content and especially of the open world, it is rather graphically speaking that this difference between the two titles could be played out. Although BoTW was artistically appreciated by most players, it was not free from flaws and it could undoubtedly have benefited from some visual improvements.
For its part, Bayonetta 3 could thus be one of the most essential games on the Nintendo Switch with its astonishing 15 GB which could both be dedicated to the content of the game itself and to serious graphic improvements. The previous opuses weighed 8.6 GB and 12.4 GB respectively when they were redeployed on Switch, suggesting serious improvements... And still happy, since the latest was playable on the Wii U at... eight years old !
Almost 3 GB is still huge for a Switch cartridge, and even if it pales in comparison to games exceeding a hundred GB in recent years, Bayonetta 3 is currently one of the heaviest games on the NIntendo Switch. So, decoy or really unavoidable? It is too early to say anything, but these indices clearly indicate a trend, it remains to be seen if it will be confirmed!
