On August 28, changes made to turbo build by Fortnite v10.20 patch appear to have been cancelled. You can build again every 0.05 seconds by holding down the building button.
In an official message published within an hour, the developers confirm that they voluntarily backed off on the nerf — probably in response to the fierce grumbling that has occurred on the Internet in recent days and which had even resulted in the creation of the #FortniteEND hashtag.
Epic took the opportunity to add another change to the building system: now, when one construction is destroyed, no other construction can be placed in the same place for the next 0.15 seconds. If two or more players try to place a construction at this exact location during these 0.15 seconds, the one among them who "wins the battle" will be chosen randomly. This change aims to prevent players with the best Internet connection from always having the opportunity to build first
