DOOM Eternal certainly has its share of secrets and challenges to spice up your demon-killing experience. Following the announcement of the multiplayer BATTLEMODE and the Master Levels, here are the new Slayer Gates.
There are a total of six Slayer Gates in the game, and all must be opened with Slayer Keys found nearby. Once a Slayer Gate is activated, you will be teleported to an arena where you will have to face dozens of demons.
One of the fun features of this area is the addition of reinforced demons. These demons bear the names of players they killed in another campaign.
They are far more powerful than their peers, and the extra loot means they are worth defeating.
Slayer Gate: Rewards
Eliminating all demons and closing the Gate will give you three weapon points and an Empyrean Key. If you collect all six keys, you will be able to unlock the Unmaker, a special weapon stored in your fortress.
DOOM Eternal comes to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 20, 2020.
