Bird Wyverns Of Ruin? Event Quest in Monster Hunter Rise

Information

To get the quest, you need to talk to Senri the Mailman, by selecting the Add-on Content. Make sure you have installed the 3.0 update before trying to download it. The quest takes place in the Arena and lasts about 50 minutes. It will require you to hunt a Great Baggi, a Great Izuchi, and a Kulu-Ya Ku.

  • The Great Baggi uses headshots, hip shots, and small tail shots. It will regularly call little Baggies as reinforcements, which will complicate things since they share the same strength. Their tranquilizing spit will put you to sleep.
  • The Kulu-Ya-Ku likes digging into the ground and pulling out a pot or a rock that will serve as both a shield and a blunt weapon. The chances of being stunned are very high.
  • The Great Izushi is very agile, capable of backflipping or swinging its whole body around. While it is not really strong, it relies on its pack to corner its prey. Be sure you don't get surrounded.

Make sure you stock up on all kinds of potions before you go hunting, you might need them!

Great Baggi

A carnivorous bird wyvern. Noted for their projecting cranial crests and bluish-white skin that's adapted to snowy climates. Great Baggi craftily commands other Baggi to surround their prey and stun them with a tranquilizing fluid.

Great Izuchi

The alpha Izuchi of its pack, identified by its larger build, upended white fur, and scythe-like tail. A Great Izuchi forms a herd of many smaller Izuchi and selects two from the group to accompany it on territory patrols. Once it spots prey or senses danger, the Great Izuchi issues command to their fellow Izuchi and coordinate their movements. Take care that you don't get overwhelmed.

Kulu-Ya-Ku

A bird wyvern that has developed limbs capable of carrying objects. It has been spotted stealing eggs from the nests. If attacked while carrying an egg, it will drop the egg in fright and flee. When enraged, a Kulu-Ya-Ku will dig up a small boulder to shield itself against threats or use it in its attacks.

Rewards

By completing this quest for the first time, you will have the opportunity to obtain an item needed to make a Tsukino Palico layered armor from MH Stories 2. Also, the reward money is 4680z.
