The First Boss
Strategy
Recommended Formation
- A tank at each spawn (North-west, North-east, South-west)
Your mages should help the melee DPS deal with the arriving mobs at their respective spawns. The main tank should be a full-on Prot Warrior, as you'll need to generate a lot of threat in a very short amount of time.
Phase 1: Noth summons Plagued Champions, who should be killed in the same way as the Sons of Flames from Molten Core.
Phase 2: Noth will spawn two waves of Plagued Champions and Plagued Guardians, which must be killed even after Noth descends.
You should aim to put Noth at 50% HP during his second descent, and you should kill him during his third. All Tanks and DPS should focus the boss during the third descent so that he dies as quickly as possible.
The Second Boss
Strategy
This boss room can be split into 5 Zones
- North West: Safe zone from Eruption
- Horizontal Centre: Deals DoTs and a zone where you can tank the boss
- Corridor: Deals DoTs and a zone where you're teleported
- Along the Walls: Player will be affected by Mind Flay
- Vertical Centre: Spawns lava in patterns
The Heigan fight typically takes just over two minutes.
Phase 1: Heigan stays in the room for 90 seconds. Eruptions will begins to work their way through the room, so you will have to pull the boss to a safe zone to prevent your melees from taking heavy damage from the spell.
Phase 2: Heigan teleports to the platform, causing eruptions to speed up for 45 seconds or more. Make sure that you constantly move to the safe zone for this phase, as performing the Heigan Safety Dance will keep your raid alive. Heigan won't cast spells during this phase, making it the ideal time to kill him.
The Third Boss
Strategy
Loatheb is not a particularly difficult encounter, but does require a very high amount of DPS. Healers will be only be able to heal once a minute, so they will have to prioritise keeping the tanks alive, leaving DPS to rely on potions and bandages. Loatheb's Necrotic Aura is a real pain for Melee DPS, but it can be dealt with by Shamans using Poison Cleansing Totems and Paladins using Judgement of Light.
After 2 minutes of combat, Loatheb will cast Inevitable Doom every 30 seconds, so be sure to dispel the curse to avoid taking unnecessary damage.
Here is a list of potions that you can use to fight Loatheb:
- Greater Shadow Protection Potion
- Major Healstone
- Whipper Root Tuber
- Heavy Runecloth Bandage
