Restoration Shaman in WoW Classic is the nature-loving healing who appeases their ancestral spirits to heal you with water.
The Restoration Shaman is the Healer of choice. Able to adapt to any situation thanks to multiple builds of talents full of varied and powerful skills. They know how to find a place in a raid group of 40 or a group to do some BGs. Their role may vary from the classic Tank Healer (whom he does to perfection but not as well as the Priest or Druid) to the entire Raid Healer through Totemic Support for melee classes. Very versatile and powerful, its the ideal healer whatever the content.
Talents
The PvE Restoration Build focuses exclusively on the healing provided and the management of your mana. It is used by Restoration Shamans who are not located in a melee group(these Shamans are assigned to the next build) or during progress when the boss battles are long-lasting.
The Build melee PvE Restoration is for Restoration Shaman assigned to be in a group composed only of players in melee for Enhancing Totems, and thus a powerful buff granted by the Totem Strength of Earth and the Totem of Air Grace, to the detriment of Tidal Mastery talent, which slightly reduces the amount of healing provided. You are a support for your melee allies mainly!
The Totems DPS PvE Build is assigned to Restoration Shamans designated to heal the raid. By playing it, you only have a small ability to heal a single target but are therefore better able to focus on the entire raid. You will always be assigned to a group of players in melee with this build in order to give them Enchancing Totem and Improved Weapon Totems. Finally, for healing, Chain Heal will become your best friend. This build will mostly be used in farming content rather than progress.
The PvP Resto Build is the equivalent of the PvP Elemental Build but much more heal-oriented than the latter. It makes you strong and able to provide for your group's healing needs while allowing you to be a bit of a threat to anyone trying to harm you.

Healing Power> Intelligence> Mana every 5 seconds> Critical Spell Strike> Stamina> Spirit
Rotation and abilities
Resto
There is no priority, strictly speaking, as a healer. However, here are the spells you should use as well as in what situations. Respect the rank of each proposed spell, mana is a real problem for WoW Classic, using a lower rank spell allows you to save mana without sacrificing healing.
- Nature's Swiftness: Use in case of extreme urgency coupled with a Healing Wave (Rank 10) on a tank that has lost a lot of life and whose survival depends on you,
- Healing Wave: Your major healing spell, you will only use it in conjunction with Nature's Swiftness in case of extreme urgency in Rank 10, or in Rank 1 before the start of a fight to stack Healing Way on the main tank.
- Lesser Healing Wave: You will use it as a quick healing spell. Have Rank 1 on hand as it is a good quick heal at very low cost, but also Rank 6 because it has a short cast time and provides very decent healing allowing you to keep a tank taking heavy damage alive
- Chain Heal: Generally, you will seek to use Rank 1 of this spell as its power is great even at the lowest rank, this is your main mass group healing ability, you will use it very often. Keep Rank 2 and Rank 3 handy if necessary, but do not overdo it.
Totems are an integral part of the Shaman's kit and make it extremely powerful, especially when in a group or raid. With a total of 2 Totems all very specific, the Shaman is a real mat that can fit into any group by bringing him buffs as diverse as powerful!
Reincarnation
Reincarnation is nothing less than the Shaman's ability to come back to life after being killed once every hour. What more can I add, except that it is extremely powerful?
Nature's Swiftness
Very useful in PvE and PvP, Nature's Swiftness is usually coupled with a Rank 10 Healing Wave to save a heavily injured player (often you by the way) or to execute a heavily wounded enemy on the ground by using an instant Chain Lightning.
Best Race For Restoration Shaman
Horde
The Orc is great in PvE as in PVP thanks to its racial Blood Fury. Finally, Hardness gives them a clear advantage over other races in PvP. Small mention of Command maybe
The Berserker is rather powerful for Resto, it makes Troll one of the best races if you plan to play Shaman. Special mention for Beast Slaying which is useful for leveling or farming.

Professions
If you follow our advice for choosing professions, Herbalism is an excellent choice because if you choose Alchemy you can be almost self-sufficient. And, even if you do not choose Alchemy, it allows you to farm components for your guild or to sell to the auction house and make a small fortune.
