The Deadmines is a Dungeon in World of Warcraft Classic which can be accessed from Level 18. The entrance to the instance is in Westfall and is visible from the surrounding areas. Due to this, it considered an Alliance-only instance. However, there is nothing stopping the bravest of Horde players from going behind enemy lines in search of the dungeon's treasures.

This dungeon has the unfortunate reputation of bringing misfortune to those that dare enter. Lord Lothar was captured in the mines on his search for the Tome of Divinity. Blackhand's daughter, Griselda, in its depths alongside her lover, Turok.
Nobody dares enter the mines as it is widely believed to be haunted. Yet this has not stopped bandits working under Edwin VanCleef from setting up a base of operations at the heart of the derelict mine.

Dungeon Location
The Deadmines is a Level 15 dungeon, but you should be at least Level 18 before attempting to conquer it.
The dungeon is based in the Alliance territory of Westfall. You can easily find the dungeon portal in Moonbrook. It is the first dungeon for Alliance players and is well worth taking for both its loot and the XP it offers players.
