A Brief History Of
1,500 years ago, trolls from the Gurubashi tribe, nostalgic about their past glory, vowed to bring back the blood god Hakkar. Exiled to the present-day Swamp of Sorrows, they erected the Temple of Atal'Hakkar. Within its walls, they led shadowy rituals with the purpose of summoning their god, before being forcibly dispersed by the Dragon Aspect Ysera. Yet, in the ruins of the sunken temple, the Dreamer's guardians were gradually corrupted by a slumbering evil.
