WoW Classsic: Kazzak World Boss Guide

Kazzak is a World Boss in World of Warcraft Classic. You can fight him at any level, but it's best to wait until you've reached Level 60 before taking him on. Kazzak can be found in the Blasted Lands, a contested zone. Read more about his location below.

A Brief History Of

Lord Kazzak was one the participants in the second invasion of Azeorth led by Kel'Thuzad. After the Burning Legion was defeated at the end of the Third War, Kazzak and his remaining forces fell back to the Burning Lands. In year 25, Kazzak could be found in the Tainted Scar, terrorising Horde and Alliance adventurers alike.

One year later, a relic of the past appeared, allowing Lord Kazzak to activate the current Dark Portal, reopening the entrance to the devastated territory of Outland. Lord Kazzak was seen leaving through the Portal, later returning with the title of Commander of the Burning Legion.

Lord Kazzak's Location

Kazzak can be found in the contested territory of the Blasted Lands. He patrols a specific area of the map, but can be easily found in the south-west of the zone, in the Tainted Scar.

Strategy

Lord Kazzak

Spells: Shadow Bolt Volley, Twisted Reflection, Mark of Kazzak, Cleave, Thunderclap, Void Bolt, Capture Soul

Race: Demon

Once you aggro Kazzak, you'll have 3 minutes to kill him. The boss will start by attacking your tanks with all his available spells. Kazzak doesn't really have a set rotation of abilities, often using different spells at will, so all players should be aware of his Shadow Bolt Volley and Thunderclap abilities.

Recommended Formation

• Main tank surrounding Kazzak
• Melee DPS next to Kazzak
• Ranged DPS and Healers at a distance from Kazzak

Healers should be careful of Kazzak's spells, such as Mark of Kazzak and Capture Soul. Be sure to make the fight easier by dispelling these debuffs as quickly as possible. For Hunters and Warlocks, don't bother calling your pets, as Kazzak will kill them easily.

If one of your raid dies, or if a healer can't deal with Twisted Reflection, you'll struggle to defeat Lord Kazzak.
