PS5: Sony to present PlayStation 5 deep dive at 12 ET / 9 PT

Following Microsoft, who wrote a long post about the Xbox Series X yesterday, Sony will finally reveal more details of the upcoming PlayStation 5. Mark Cerny, lead architect, will presenting the machine at 12:00 ET / 9:00 PT today.

Despite the containment linked to the coronavirus outbreak, manufacturers seem to follow their communication plans.

Microsoft lifted the veil on the technical specs of its Xbox Series X yesterday, and Sony is set to do the same with the PS5 in a short while, with a video recorded by Mark Cerny himself, which will be published on the official PlayStation blog.

Tomorrow at 9am Pacific Time, PS5 lead system architect Mark Cerny will provide a deep dive into PS5’s system architecture, and how it will shape the future of games.

We can expect details on the technical features of the machine, on its main features and on its haptic feedback joystick, the DualShock 5. Finally, we will probably be able to discover the design chosen for Sony's new generation console.
