The clues about Fortnite's Season 3 flooding continue to pour in. While water will always be a central theme for the coming season, as evidenced by the recent shark leaks, it's a much more harmless detail that catches our attention this time. Puddles are beginning to form all over Apollo Island.
As can be seen in the image above, they're often associated with cracks, and are sometimes found in structures, such as bridges.
The flood thesis is one of the favoured ones for the coming season. Some dataminers have put forward theories on the presence of sharks as vehicles, as well as on the submergence of entire buildings.
These small puddles — so insignificant for the moment — could be multiplying until we wade in the water. We could even imagine that they weaken buildings and structures, like this bridge which seems to be threatened by a muddy flow.
Flood thesis
Rising waters have been feared for several months. In February, we told you about a strange message "traced" on the map, which echoed Noah's Ark and the flood.
We thought the flood was going to come in Season 2, but it's very possible that Epic Games had already slipped a clue to Season 3 at that time.
We'll have to keep a close eye on the sea level, and the possible overflow of the rivers, which are extremely numerous on the map in Chapter 2.
