The arrival of Phase 5 of WoW Classic has brought a bunch of new recipes and formula to three Professions in the game. Of course, the most important addition is without doubt Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops, but it's well worth checking out some of the others as well!
Alchemy
Alchemists can now loot Recipe: Elixir of Greater Firepower from several creatures in Searing Gorge in the Eastern Kingdoms.
This is a direct upgrade to Elixir of Firepower, as this new consumable is four times stronger than its predecessor! This is a particularly useful item for Fire Mages, especially given how important this spec will be for taking on Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas due to the lack of fire resistance on creatures in these raids.
Cooking
Cooks & Tanks alike will be thrilled to see the most important recipe in the profession finally added to the game: Recipe: Dirge's Kickin' Chimaerok Chops! Not only is it the most powerful meal for tanks in WoW Classic, it's also easily the rarest and most expensive.
Not only can Chimaerok Tenderloin only be farmed from Elite Chimeras on the Isle of Dread in Feralas, but its recipe can only be obtained by finishing part of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain!
Getting your hands on this recipe will ensure that you'll always have a guaranteed source of income, at least until we eventually make our way to the Outlands in The Burning Crusade.
Enchanting
Enchanters will able to get their hands on two new recipes for weapon oils. These new oils last for 30 minutes and will stay active even on death.
To get these recipes, you must first raise your reputation with the Zandalar Tribe to Friendly, then trade with Rin'wosho the Trader on Yojamba Isle, which can be found in the north-west of Stranglethorn Vale.
